20, 2008 Since the company was relatively new and no presence on the web, Hikanoo focused its design and creative presentation on Ember's surf inspired product line and company's outdoor image appeal. Since optimization of the site was not foremost in the developmental process, Hikanoo let the creative aspects of the company complement the site.
Hikanoo worked with Creavi to combine a graphically appealing site, which included flash elements and product driven images. The products included a zooming tool, which lets visitors clearly view the company's outdoor apparel, as well as a mechanism to purchase their clothes, hats and other products. Since the company was not interested in a full blown shopping experience at this stage of their business, the site incorporates Pay Pal elements to enable visitors to purchase the products while a full shopping solution is established. Ember Clothing Company, a privately held company based in San Clemente, is a surf-inspired, core board-riding brand designed for individuals who juggle the responsibilities of work, family, and school.
